For the last fortyeight years KLDC has undertaken and executed many major land development activities in the state that have brought positive difference in farmer's lives. Some of them are:

 Thrissur Ponnani Kole Development Project:Outlay Rs. 222 crore

 Pokkali Land Development Project (Rs. 28 crore)

·        Outlay : Rs. 28 crore

·        Area benefitted: 5000 ha

·        No. of beneficiaries : 4000

 Vaikom Kari Land Project

·        Outlay : 1536 lakh

·        Area benefitted: 1837 ha

·        No. of beneficiaries : 4674

 Kuttanadu and Purakkad Land Development Works

·        Outlay : 750 lakh

·        Area benefitted: 854 ha

·        No. of beneficiaries : 990

2: Sahasra Sarovar Project

Ground water level of the state has depleted alarmingly due to various reasons. To overcome this to some extent, KLDC introduced a unique project “Sahasra Sarovar Project” which means Thousand Pond Renovation. Many ponds as big as 14 acres or more were completed through this project.
